Sally Nixon and Sarah Wakeman have worked together since
1990. Completing their course in 2004, the two sisters formalised their
life-long passion for gardening with qualifications in Garden Design from
Sparsholt College, Hampshire, both passing with Distinction.
Floribunda is the successful partnership of design and horticultural
skills. Sally and Sarah work together to produce draft plans and sketches
for clients' gardens, inspiring one another through the exchange of design
concepts and details. From this point on - in full collaboration with the
client - Floribunda refines the vision to arrive at the perfect design
for each garden. The partnership's approach to garden design is stylish, innovative and practical and Floribunda always looks for original and exciting ways to express a garden's full potential, with a balanced harmony between design and planting.
Working with local, trusted landscape contractors to bring the vision to reality, Floribunda produces full construction plans in addition to master layouts and planting plans. Sally and Sarah take great pleasure in the entire design and construction process - all the way through to the official closure of a garden design project clinking glasses of celebratory drinks - or cups of tea - with the client !
